Default Bi Xenon Projector lenses.

Looking at modifying a set of lights for my Insignia so I'm wanting to fit Bi Xenon projectors into them, There is loads and loads for sale but any recommendations on which makes to avoid?

I was looking at Morimoto ones but wonder if some of the cheaper makes would just be as good.

I think your asking in the wrong place, unfortunately - try HID Planet. The Chinese stuff gets a poor rep.

I have some morimotos to fit in my car (Renault Megane), I just can't find the time. RHD units are very cheap - but shipping and import duties are a killer!

Your probably right Jakg thought I’d ask anyway.
Can I ask where you got your ones and are they the new 7 version?

I’ll check out HID planet thanks.

Wullie,

Contact Rick a trader on here who runs MG Rover Custom Parts. He is both very helpful and knowledgeable on HIDs and does bi-xenon upgrades for the 75/ZT, I’m sure he will be able to assist you with a recommendation.

It’s not for a 75/ZT. Wullie was asking if anyone had experience or recommendations re his Insignia.

I've got Morimoto FX-R 3.0. They were only $50.

I know it was for an Insignia but the units are not unique

I’ve dropped him a pm to see what he recommends.
I’m not sure I want an hid kit so considering retro fitting a projector from a 75 or zt that takes H7 bulbs. I’ll see how it goes still waiting on the spare headlights to turn up.
