BMW M3 Brakes
Are they compatible with the ZT 190?
I see some nice 325mm for the standard E46 M3, and visually they look almost identical to the 325mm on the ZT. Is this purely wishful thinking? |

Stud pattern isn't a problem, the main issue you'll have is whether the caliper will physically bolt on and whether the offset of the disc (which ever you choose to use) is in the correct place.
I have fitted non standard brakes to my track car, it's got Clio 197 brembo's with mk1 focus rs discs. The beauty of the Clio calipers is they are radially mounted so I could make an adaptor to put the caliper where I needed it. And they only just fit under some 17" wheels with a lower offset so the caliper didn't run on the inside of the wheel Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The other consideration to make is will the master cylinder supply enough fluid to the brakes if you end up with a multi piston caliper? What can happen is if you can't supply enough fluid you end up with a very soft pedal with a really long travel, there will also be a severe lack of 'bite' due to the extra travel and soft feel. Luckily on my 25 it's master cylinder was more than capable of running the calipers but it's the bigger of the two, the smaller masters as fitted to the 1.4's aren't supppsed to be as accommodating with the extra pistons
