If it was arcing maybe but they are solid state so nothing moves really.

Try swapping the pack to another cylinder and see.

You have identified the faulty cylinder. The cause of the fault could be anything including coil pack, spark plug, injector/fuel or a mechanical issue/wear in that cylinder, valves or piston. It's a process of elimination so start with the easy (external) issues first before having to delve deeper. Reading the condition of the spark plug can tell you a lot (colour, condition, presence of oil, soot, fuel etc.). Plenty of info on Google re reading spark plug condition.

Have you changed the spark plug on that cylinder? One step at a time!

Having said that, what is the same? i.e. if the fault is identical for when the coil is attached then it's the coil, if the former cylinder is "the same" then it is a deeper fault. At the moment, I'm inclined towards a faulty coil.

Though, make sure that it is only the coil and not it's leads you are transferring as well at the moment.
Good luck.

Spark plugs are new,and yes the same coilpack is still tapping when transfered to the other 2 cylinders.😕

It sounds like you can hear the pack arcing - thankfully they're cheap enough
