Default Switching from black oak to walnut

I've got a 1.8t contemporary face lift with black oak trim. How easy would, it be to switch to walnut and what would be the cost?

It takes minutes to change over. You’ll need a hex key to remove the panel over the air bag. Disconnect the car battery first and go for a cup of tea to allow any current in the system to disappear or the air bag might go off!
Never had one go off yet but best be safe.
I have a spare real wood walnut dash and a spare later plastic walnut one.
To be honest, I’ve not tried to sell either as I’m a hoarder of spares “just in case”.

I've just completed the same makeover. I chickened out of doing the changeover myself, Astraeus in Tayport did a great job on mine, including swapping over the steering wheel. I think it's one of those jobs you could do yourself, but having an experienced person do it for you makes it swift and sure.

Like all things, once you know how, it's easy...well, easier! And yes, whilst the black oak somehow works well in MG cars, I think my walnut wood is a vast improvement!

Real wood every time, it gives a much nicer look than the plastic.
