Hi folks, battery is knackered on my car and was just wondering if a 40ah would be ok on it for a day or so while I can get hold of one.normal one on a 1.8 turbo is a 60ah I think.

As long as it is a car battery, it will be OK provided it has 300CCA or higher. If it is something like an 063 then it will be OK.
