A truly damning reflection of how most people in Europe view the EU.

Never forget that we have far more friends than enemies in Europe - but our enemies are the unelected EU Mandarins. Interesting that she has done the analysis as to how decisions will be made post Brexit within the EU.

Wow. What a fantastic speech. I wonder if the lady could be persuaded...no, I suppose not. Apart from the accusations against France's membership she followed exactly what we have been saying since the start. There will be the usual denials from predictable sources of course but the truth is validated in the origin of the opinion. Can't help wondering if it will be on the BBC...

You never wanted anything else than an undeliverable Brexit. What I found humbling about this tremendous speech by a brave German Lady is how she stuck it to the EU about their not wanting “reform from within” and her quoting how badly they treated Cameron when he tried.

But judging by the reality of this wonderful speech - the EU will lose far more than we ever will.

When a country whose economy equals the combined total of the 19 smaller member states leaves the EU - that is going to smart a bit.

Let’s get on with it - forget a deal - unless the EU suddenly becomes honourable and respectable - and for Gods sake let us get out.

Now I suspect the mods will shut all this down.

And I do not blame them.
