And how many owners actually do tow loaded caravans with their CDT's? |

My original stat was running 10 deg cool so I had it replaced a few months ago with the original replacement.

realised the great benefit of an FBH today, mine is currently disconnected to try and isolate an electrical problem i have.
On the journey into work this morning ( about 40 minutes ) car took a lot longer to warm up, the OBD was showing about 65 by the time i got to the M54 whereas it is normally over 70 by then, stayed at 75 for a long time before rising to 80/81 just before i left the M54, it is usually on 80 as soon as i have a couple of M54 miles under my belt rising to 85/87 by the time i get off.

Fitted mine, took about an hour... wasn't as hard as I thought it'd be (although i did end up getting a bit too much coolant in my mouth!)

Received mine last Saturday from specialist components, and had it fitted today.
I only drove 7 miles back on restricted roads and with the heater on. Dash read out showed a max of 75c and lowest 62c. Temperature outside was - 1c, and I did have the heater on in the car, (set at Hi) because I'd forgotten what a heater was, and the luxury was intoxicating! I suppose in this bitter weather it's better to avoid frost-bite and to hell with fuel efficiency. I'm afraid all the technical stats are over my head? I reckon in time they'll be a majority decision on hole or no hole, width of hole if pertinent, best way to plug a hole if no hole, and on the whole it's all been worth it on the hole, or no hole ... |
