Good morning Jeff, are you going anywhere nice? The forecast for good weather is for the middle of August where it could get up to 30C.

Remember being in London last summer when the temperature got to 40C and it felt really uncomfortable. This year the weather so far has been bearable.

A few days ago, I gave this chair away to our Ukrainian couple who live on the ground floor. A nice couple, he is a baker and gives us bread every week. Today a new recliner is arriving as Jessica found the Chesterfield was too upright for her to sit in. Jessica cannot sleep on her side at night and she cannot sleep any longer than 2 and half hours on her back. Hopefully the recliner will give her better relief. Wish us luck 😃

I think, just like biking, I willnalso be a fair weather diver!

The thought of the cold water in the UK is a tad off putting.

Morning Phil,

I’m going to Diss (nearly there and just having a pit stop for coffee) to photograph a Triumph Spitfire.
Will be heading to the boat afterwards and will stay till Tuesday afternoon

Funny you got rid of the Chesterfield. I’m on the hunt for a two seater chesterfield style sofa for the studio . Somewhere to sit and also double up as a prop.

Hope the new chair is better for Jessica .

Same here too, been raining through the night,not raining now but very cool and loads of cloud in the sky.
We had 3 days of warm sunny weather from Friday, but this week it’s forecast to rain every single day until the weekend. So if dry by next weekend, I’ll have to cut the 3 lawns about twice each time.
