Stuck at home today waiting for Interlink to deliver a replacement skylight for the caravan. Took the current one off yesterday - and the plastic had hardened and become so brittle that it cracked as I tried to clean the bird droppings off it
An hour later, a new one was ordered, and despached, from The Caravan Accessory Shop in Cromer (do you know them Steve?) at the princely sum of £47.98
Good morning Rod chores on the caravan are nether ending

I hope it is better than the Maplin one I bought 5 years ago. It was replaced 3 times under warranty and that one died before the year was out. When the first one went wrong I noticed some of the reviews. Should have looked at those first.
At that price though it has to be worth a punt. Just be careful up the ladder we don't want any more injuries this week!

Good news

Just had a call from Norwich hospital,I have an appointment Friday morning,so it looks as things are moving fast.

Looks like Snetterton will be a no go for me and others,so the mini meet will not be,maybe next year.

Twilight sings a song
All the happiness that used to be

Soon my eyes will close
Soon I'll find repose
And in dreams, you're always near to me

I'll see you in my dreams
And then I'll hold you in my dreams

Collected the car, my mate was impressed, 138k on the clock, no work required (there's usually something needs done!), no advisories.

I rather had my fingers crossed Derek! What I usually do is take the car along to my mate's a couple of weeks before the MOT is due, he checks it over, rectifies any problems then takes it to a garage next door for the MOT. I couldn't do that as he's been on holiday, today was his first day back, had to present the car for the MOT on the day it was due with only a look over by myself and a cursory glance over by my mate. Mind you, she did get a good once over by Dunc (cossie dunc) a couple of months ago.
