Morning everyone from a grey and cool Nairobi 11C. More 4x4 woes, the foot brake had to be pumped hard to make the car stop. A mobile mechanic is visiting this morning to attend. Looking forward to good news tonight for the English

Morning. Nondescript day, cloudy and grey. Getting a bit peeved at the number of manky feral pigeons hanging around, starting to get a bit ridiculous, they come from the buildings in the museum next door. Went out this morning and it was like a scene from "The Birds", 10 - 12 of them on the gable end overlooking the garden. When they descend into the garden looking for seeds around the feeders they scare the wee birds, stamp on plants, cr@p in the birdbath, even get them swinging around on the feeders like a trapeze artist wings flapping to keep their balance trying to get the seeds

Morning all.

Weird weather this morning. Look out of the back windows to broken clouds and a bit sunny. Look out of the front to dark grey, threatening skies.

Who knows? Forecast says dry for the next few hours but for some reason I'm not convinced .

Have a good day everyone.

Been working in the garden, on my hands and knees pulling weeds in the gravel, calling it quits or rather my wrists are calling it quits. If I bend my wrists back with weight on them they start to complain, rather vociferously if you persist. Keeps trying to rain as well. Now having coffee and paracetamol.

Never mind the "keeps trying to rain", just started chucking it down.

Missus bought one of butane gas weed burners off ebay & it works a treat, I just pull up a garden chair & sit down with the lance burning the weeds

I've been pottering around the garden & greenhouse & it's horribly muggy I'm going to watch Branson's Virgin Galactic flight shortly , I think it's live 3:30pm on youtube.

Cool

Been chucking it down most of the day. But I have met a couple of owners to have come round to collect some of the free bits I have. And whilst the Bear’s bonnet was open I was approached by a new member to be. We had a nice chat in the rain.

Got a nice piece of steak for dinner.
