Spent the afternoon swapping birds feeder poles! My other half decided it was a good idea to get another two feeders in Aldi on her way home this morning, meant we had more feeders than the pole had hooks Had a "spare" pole that we brought back from the Lakes, taller, more hooks and the clip on hooks from the old pole fitted. Hauled the old pole out of the ground, planted the "new" one. Now have a bird feeder with FIVE stations on it . . . . birds are confused now, don't know what to go for

Miscounted, its actually SIX feeders plus a tray!

What a miserable wet day, it's been constant rain all day & still coming down.
Fish, herby potato wedgies & veggies for tea tonight.

Yes agree that was disgusting behaviour from those lowlifes, I signed an online petition this afternoon to ban racists for life from football grounds.

Nice one Steve, I can only put the feeders sticking out of the laurel tree as it's the only place the cats cant get at them, I've tried them in other places but the cats just kept scaring the birds away.

No puddy tats around here. Its quite funny watching the birds, BlueTits in particular, they seem baffled by the choice, jumping from one feeder to another, suet balls, seeds, peanuts, mealworms

Sorry it's a bit late....

This is how we watched the football last night......Strap a TV to the back of the boat, open some beers and light the BBQ

The result was a disappointment but the evening was brilliant

We have some garden residents that don't appear til evening, tiny Field Mice. They come out and hoover up anything left under the bird feeders. Never tried to photograph them before. rather chuffed at the result.

There's another couple of photos in the photograph section.

Cool

Morning everyone.

There is a strange Yellow Orb in the sky, must be a UFO.

Had unexpected visitors yesterday, but always nice to see Allen & Val. They took away with them a large pot of strawberries.

Morning all, Overcast and grey here, the rain has finally stopped. I'm dreading going into the garage.

We have the bigger variety with long tails climbing up the feeder for the seed.
