What you need is one of these acrylic inverted domes.



Prevents anything getting at the feeders from ground level.

We had a problem with long tails, coming from the mining museum next door. Field Mice I don't mind but won't entertain their big cousins! They were trying to climb the pole, even trying to leap across from nearby shrubs. Taking a (considerable) number of them out with the air rifle persuaded them coming here wasn't a good idea!

Afternoon all, Flamin' heck! The suns made an appearance & it's cracking flags here, Too hot for this Lancashire lad I've had to come in as I'm starting to look like a tanned Adonis

Wind has picked up here......Been dead calm since Saturday so had to start blowing at some point.
Was thinking of taking the boat out but not with this wind and single helmed.

Back home after work tomorrow, it's been a nice few days up here. Mixture of work and pleasure

Too bl00dy hot here! Thermometer on the wall reading 33 degrees (garden is a major sun trap), had to come in to cool down a bit.
