yup thats the one,

Was refering more to the addition of using of the other cooler pipe as well to draw in new fluid until it runs clear .

if I can find some cooler connectors i'll give it a go ..

So I've only used the genuine MG Rover stuff but I've seen there are alternatives that are compatible with the Jatco box at half the price has anyone used them and would it be okay to mix it with the genuine fluid that's in now ?
Thanks in advance!

Give Arctic a shout he steered me to an how to that makes the job of changing all the fluid in the system easy. I have now done it three times and that will be five times before December as both of our 75s are due ATF change over one on mileage and the spice tourer because despite having been told it has been done. I want to know it has been done.
I do not recommend mixing fluids. As one will be unknown and like motor oil Jatco fluid comes as mineral, semi synthetic, and synthetic. Both mine will be getting all fluid changed in the next fortnight then I will be doing them again a month later just to be sure that all be well for the next quarter million miles.
If in doubt fit rover branded fluid it comes in gallon bottles at about £60 I jug so £120 to do the full change and you will have around 2 litres left over.
