When I was on the bike, I always gave the thumb down sign to oncoming riders/drivers to indicate a cash collection vehicle now, in the car, flash the lights and do the slow down wave, not only does it warn other motorists, it also slows them down, thus having served its purpose.
As an aside, did you know it's illegal to warn other drivers of a speed camera? Obstructing law enforcement, or something like that
Speed limits, for the obedience of fools and the guidance of wise men

I'm pretty sure you were trying to use the screen washers and forgot which side stalk works them

Next year when speed limiters are mandatory on all new cars drivers will have more to be wary of than just speed cameras.

PC Plod will be able to pull you over & connect a lap top device to the car to download your journey data & will show your speeds along the roads you've been travelling with GPS accuracy
This is a good video on the subject from a bikers point of view also.

New cars & light goods vehicles but not Necessarily not new models for the time being. The future Tesla Model S Plaid owners are going to be ticked off if their hyper performance 'Plaids' will be restricted to 70MPH

What will be the point of such powerful cars in this type of market!.

Wow.--who was that guy?--I got to nearly 4 minutes but couldn't stay to listen. Boredom struck home at that point.---

A few years ago up on the Welshpool/Montgomery road (straight and long in places) a camera van always used to be in one of the laybys.

Back then they were manned by civilians not policemen.

Apparently one day after catching speeders all day the camera operator went back to base. He was being followed by a police car who stopped him for speeding!

Who's watching the watchmen...

Mac.

I flash all drivers travelling in the opposite direction, to warn them of the possibility of other users on the road, with the hope that they will eventually start to ignore such flashes from others and one day get caught by a camera van.

The more £ collected from those who do not respect the laws of the land, the more funds we will have for the NHS.

Baldrick would be impressed with my cunning plans!

I wonder if it'll have any impact on the sales of new cars?

Maybe not straight away but after there's been a few events/incidents/prosecutions/insurance cop outs?

Time will tell.
