Default Is the car or the radio

I have fitted a Pioneer SPH-DA160DAB Android Auto / Apple car play head unit using the MG7 surround, some wooden blocks and araldite

I'm generally very happy with it, but I do have an annoying problem and I don't know if it's the car or the radio that's having an issue.

When I get in the car 1st thing on a morning and first turn the ignition key the radio starts up no issue, but as soon as I turn the key to start the car, the radio powers off and stays off for anything upto 10 mins regardless of turning the ignition off and back on again.

I've just taken a quick video to show what happens.

Any ideas welcome.

Cheers, I've given that a go and it's seems to be turning on and off ok, but now the clock isn't keeping time, so I'm assuming the permenant live isn't as permenant as it should be... might have to dig the multimeter out, but it's a bit warm for that today.

Odd sort of problem. When, and if, you get it fixed don't forget to pop back and tell us how you did it.--

Yep will do, I'm just happy that it's turning on when I start the car at the moment ... need to sort out the permenant feed so it remembers all the settings
