Central locking unlocking
I had a tensioner fail on my ZTT the other day, aux belt shrieking then went slack. Anyway, I had to dump the car, get home and then get recovery. When I got back to the car, it was unlocked. So I locked it. It unlocked itself. So I locked it again. A few minutes later, it unlocked and the tailgate popped. this went on for a while but once on the recovery truck it behaved ok, until we got it home and it unlocked itself on the drive. The battery is now off so I can sort the tensioner, but what could cause it to keep unlocking? Battery failing?? BCU u/s?? Any ideas?

It seems like one of the sensors is telling the ECU an item is unlocked.---ie. The bonnet, boot or a door.--Could that AUX belt have hit some wiring ??---

I don't think so; the other thing is that the time between locking and it unlocking itself is random - sometimes a few seconds, sometimes minutes and it has relocked and then unlocked itself. I do wonder, though, whether parking near to a BT telecoms mast may have upset something as I have had this occur on my R75 which ended up with the immobiliser playing up after parking near one in Swanage. Hmmm.....
