Default Battery fixing

Went to remove the battery from my donor car a pre Facelift and found what I thought was a sensible fixing. See item 4 in the following link
https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-GRID001613

Neither of my Facelifts have this long bolt and nor did my previous donor car, which also was a Facelift.

Is this long bolt standard on Facelifts or a project drive deletion? I can see it making its way onto one of my cars, far better then messing about with a short bolt.

That's a shame. Great idea. Going to have to copy that somehow. Not likely to manage a nano meet this year from Cornwall but maybe 2022

Even if you cant get the bolt, B&Q sell threaded rod. Get 2 nuts and probably just soldering them in place would give the the securing nut at the "bottom" and a nut at the top for a socket.

Hi Steve. You also gave me one, thanks very much. Saves a lot of fumbling around when refitting the battery.
