Default Reverse Lights not Working

Hi

My 75 has had some work being done but now the reverse lights won’t work.

I think it’s a switch that wasn’t connected but just want to confirm with some more mechanically-minded people!

Thank you all

The switch in the gearbox is prone to failure and is a cheap and easy swap, check that it is plugged in first though!

Nearside wheel off and look towards the gearbox, you will see the switch and hopefully the wire that should be plugged in.

As above what Andy says

1

2

Locate the plug on the switch.
2

To change the switch out you will need 19mm deep socket
3

Lift the tag to remove the plug loom.
4

5

Plug in the new switch to make sure it's working, then press in the end.
6

Sometimes the old switch can stick so check that the same once removed.

You can now use the 19mm socket to remove the switch.
6

7

8

Add the new switch.
9

Nip it up do not over tighten the switch.
10

Refit the plug wiring.
11

good luck Arctic
