I was a little concerned that, as a type 2 diabetic, I have to renew every 3 years, and approaching my 70th next February, I would have to renew twice in one year.
I renewed re the diabetic rule in March online. My new licence arrived after about a week valid till June 2024, meaning my licence is valid 3 years and 3 months, makes sense.

Had my old style green paper licence for years, never bothered with a photo licence, as I understand it my existing licence is valid until I get to 70.

I've still got my Red driving one & my passport style class 1 HGV licences along with the fuel ration book we got in 1973, Might still come in handy with the state of the fuel situation
