Bleddy heck! two & a half hours sat in a hospital waiting room waiting of the missus with a mask on, Then she says we'll do some shopping on the way back, I've lost the will to live & my back is screaming
I came the loooong way round back from Wrightington on the motorways to Bolton as I'm not going anywhere near Wigan when the schools are coming out, First time on a motorway with the MG ev & first time doing 70mph , effortless & silent Super, smashing, belting as Jim Bowen used to say. We called at the big ASDA store & I didn't know they had an hairdressers in there, £8.99 for a gents cut so I got a trim whilst the missus did the shopping . Lovely young lady who hailed from Dorset who sold her flat down there & bought a four bedroom house in Wigan & still had change Already on painkillers & a bottle of cold Henry's to numb the back pain Meatballs in a garlic tomato sauce with spaghetti for tea tonight & just as we got in the window fitters called to say they'll be coming Thursday to fit the double glazed window that they mismeasured over a month ago, We didn't think they'd be back this year with the amount of work they had booked in.

Heavy rain last night. Not raining this morning, yet. Off for my Covid booster jab in Plymouth this morning.

Morning all.
Chucking it down here as well. Mild though. Outside temp gauge said 17 degrees yesterday morning. A couple less than that now. Missed the Mids Nano social last night as SWMBO was a good hour and a half late getting home courtesy of a broken down "very tired" mini bus thing. Something a bit odd as lots of Police & blue lights in attendance but no sign of any occupants . |

Cleaned the bedroom carpet earlier today . . . . its in no bleedin' hurry to dry despite a heater and dehumidifier, still damp. Spare room tonight is looking like a distinct possibility.

Evening all, a day off work today, not much rovering done as the showers were heavy and frequent, took Deb to the docs as she has been under the weather for the last couple of days, she has a noise on her lung so more antibiotics and an X ray booked.
Dog walked and lots of washing done, had tea and now a couple of Guinness..

This time of year doesnt help Ian, cold & damp, nights drawing in, health always suffers.
Deb will be ok thanks, its just a knock on effect of the pneumonia, she has a couple of good Months then feels NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD- again, docs said it will take a while.
