I have seen some cheap arms have play in the bottom ball joint out of the box so buyer beware. I was given a pair to install buy a customer that he had purchased from the bay of plenty and they were worse than the ones on the car that had an advise from the previous MOT

and i wouldn't advise using copper grease as it will slowly destroy any form of rubber and polyurthene always use silicone grease or red rubber grease

I got that knocking. Was disappointed to see you got to change the whole arm and not just the bush itself. While at it, changing the other bushes too. Ordered the suspension arm (both sides): https://www.oscaro.es/barra-oscilante-suspension-de-ruedas-quinton-hazell-qsa1891s-1278197-273-p And the bushes and the front links (both sides): https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FOR-MG-ZT...53.m2749.l2649 I suspect they've never been replaced but the steering bushes have. |

Well just to update if anyone is thinking of using the Powerflex bushes...... Ive taken mine off for the last time (car is going to heaven) and theyre just as good as the day i put them on after approx 70k miles. They still have the makings clearly visible and very uniform on the inside of the bush suggesting to me no wear whatsoever, the parts on the arm are now residing on probably their fourth set of wishbones. In my view it was worth every penny is replacing the standard ones, i HATED getting those bolts into the subframe. With the powerflex ones there's no need to take them off as the arm nicely slides So to answer my question from 4 year ago...... Yes they are standing the test of time ps i also did the trailing arm ones and they seem to have held up perfectly well too |

Is there enough room to get the bolts done with a torque wrench?
