Default Missing hatch cover, headlamp cover & clip

Changing the dipped beam headlamp bulb on the driver's side of my Mark I 2.0 Connoisseur recently, I made two discoveries. One was that they were obviously designed so that only a contortionist with very small hands would ever be able to change a bulb; the other was that the following items are all missing:
  • the hatch cover (which covers the hole in the front wheel-arch),
  • the screw which secures the hatch cover to the wheel-arch,
  • the rubber cover which fits on the back of the headlamp, and
  • the spring clip which holds the headlamp bulb in place.
Short of finding a helpful scrap-merchant, can anyone suggest where I might get replacements at a reasonable price, please?

Hi,
It would be worth checking that you have the spring clip version and not the twist and lock fitting. My old 2002 tourer had the spring clip but my 2003 ZT has the twist & lock fitting.

Thanks for both replies. My car definitely has the sping-clip fitting. The one on the passenger side is fine, but the clip on the driver's side is missing (possibly broken at some time, because access on the driver's side is more difficult).

I hadn't realised there was a "wanted" forum on the site but I have now found it and reposted there.

Didn't know about this site Simon so thanks for posting up the link. Could very well be useful in future.

Try these people or your local Land Rover dealer - same as freelander 1.
Rubber cap of any old headlight and silicone.

Thanks to all those who have kindly offered to supply the parts I need. I hope I have responded personally to all PMs but if I have missed one, please accept my apologies.
