Question

Ceedy, thanks for reply.contacted 'Reidy 'remaps.Said he does know Chaz, but not heard from him for a while . Explained my situation - failed Mot on diesel emissions, and said that ,in fact that '
he' would have done the remap for chaz.
Also suggested replacing ' maf' plug,as this could help with less smoke problem, for MOT.Hope so, need pass for retaxing etc.
Anyone else had problems with diesel remap, and mot fail?

I think the majority of owners here have had remaps done by club traders. I haven't heard anyone having problems with a club trader remap.

You'll have a boost leak or an iffy injector. You should pass an MOT perfectly fine with a Reidy map.

I've noticed Chaz hasn't picked up WhatsApp messages for a while I hope he's OK
He remapped mine and haven't had any issues with smoke or emissions tests
My remap runs with the MAF sensor plugged in as I said to chaz I didn't want smoke

Chaz maps the car as per owners request, reidy remaps / dynamic ecu tunes are all custom files and not preloaded junk.

If you asked for max power max smoke you will get that. I'd also suspect the map was probably mafless encoding anyways so that won't matter.

If you stuck contact mgr-ni or one of the other reidy agents like force tuning etc over in the mainland.
