Default converting from single horn to twin horn

As my single horn is duff and I have a pair of twin horns and harness I thought I may as well convert to twin horns.

How/where is the harness run for the drivers side horn?

I have seen this thread https://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/for...highlight=twin but it does not at the moment suit my needs

thanks

Hi Ian.
Remove the bumper, then the slam panel and swap over the loom and horns, the main loom plug is in front of the washer bottle.

1

while there check for any wiring chaffing on the arm add some protection.
2

Put the slam panel on a work bench or ground, to help you remove the horn loom and route the new one the same way.

6

Once you have the panel off you will see how to fit it and the horns

Steve, the main loom plug is attached to the inner arch by a plastic (PVC?) push-on clip/bracket.
1. Is there an easy way to detach the clip/bracket without wrecking it?
2. Have you found a source/supplier for the clip/bracket?

I think i just used the near-side foam as a pattern for the off-side one to cut out the space required for the second horn when I converted mine. Easy enough to do with a hacksaw or a sharp knife when I think I did mine.
