Just an add-on to this old thread.
The car is hardly being driven lately. Once again, I got a bulb-out dash warning and the nearside front indicator wasn't lighting up. All other electrics were working and the car started first time without complaint. Following my previous experience with this, all I did was to charge the battery. The indicator is working again now. I'm no electrician but this doesn't seem logical to me. But I cannot deny that charging the battery has cured the same problem twice now and this second time I did nothing else. At least it seems to be a good early indication of battery condition even if it does seem to defy logic. |
