Being Neighbourly - NOT

I have said it for years that we are so insular in respect of our neighbours now (and luckily for some that won't apply) in that with the ability given us by modern media and communications, we talk more with many people across the world, several who we will never ever meet,yet we hardly communicate with our neighbours.

Whilst distributing contact leaflets to the houses around me this morning, I found that a chap who works in my organization and I meet occasionally there, lives eight doors from me. I have been here for twenty-two years and he beyond that. We didn't know.
