Lightbulb Lovox CR80

Hi all,

My ZT currently has the Lovox CR80 fitted, but I am about to buy an Xtrons to replace it.

I'm not sure what wiring is in the car, can anybody tell me if I need to buy an aerial or loom adapter for the following?

You'll probably need an adaptor to connect yes, someone will have fitted this model I'm sure. For my Sony single din I bought a harness from Connects2, also a 'patch lead' to enable steering wheel controls. If you want to listen to DAB stations on that model it seems you have to buy an extra part, at £34. There seems to be a lot of 'options' you can buy at extra cost. DAB will also need a DAB aerial, mine was £17 from ebay. Just mentioning these things so you can arrive at the overall cost, so the unit does what you expect from it.

My Xtrons unit came with all the leads needed.

My reason for asking is because they specifically mention Rover regards the harness, saying some versions will need a patch.

Regards the extras, that's fine. These are a decent head unit, and fit the dash perfectly, So I'm happy to pay for the options provided they work as they should.

Mine came with the ISO connector lead to plug straight into the car, canbus box (for illumination and dimming working with the lights), satnav receiver and wireless aerial.
I know that it can be a problem if your unit had the HK system. No patch lead needed for the SW controls but you will need to graft one of the wires from the SW to either key 1 or 2 and the other to earth.
