Default That 999999 Miles Problem

Hello everyone, I know that this subject has come up previously, but I would like to know what the current situation is with respect to anyone who can help me with it. My ZT 1.8 Turbo has this problem due to water getting into the CD changer in the boot. That's all sorted now, but the car is on my drive out of MOT. I've been reluctant to get an MOT because I don't really want the 999999 on the cars mileage history. It would be great if it could be sorted out by post. However, if that's not possible, then I guess I can put an MOT on and take it, hopefully not too far from where I am in Poole. Thanks in advance....
