Default ZT-T 2.5, electrical problems

Hey, have some electrical problems I'd like to troubleshoot:

1. Central locking. Works for unlocking, but not locking, neither remotely nor physically. Inside lock switch is fine.

2. External mirrors. Vertical adjustment didn't work at all upon purchase a month ago. Now both mirrors can be adjusted down, but not back up again. Door switch problem?

3. Cruise control, the standard... "Clicked" the clutch connector back in place, still doesn't work. Light is green on the center panel button. Both the ABS and airbag lights work during ignition self-test.

Fuses are all good and floor mats are dry.

Appreciations for any input

1. Perhaps something's preventing locking, bonnet switch, any door open alerts?

2. Found oxide on the connector pins of my electric mirrors which prevented full movement, cleaned then fine. Sometimes the master window unit needs opening, cleaning: clean the electrical contacts with a rubber.

3. Check that the vacuum hose on the throttle body hasn't come adrift.

Regards

Thank you both, and kudos for the link! Works perfect now (although the rear wiper started activating at every ignition, hahaha this car... )

This stuff is interesting. It appears to be a four window switch, with only two switches visible. What amazes the most, though, is the seemingly blocked mirror "rest" button. Was that an optional extra?

1. Nothing during my month of ownership. But as you said it, I washed the car this morning; afterwards it thought the driver's door was semi-open all the way home (flickered like crazy). Returned to normal after garaging.

3. Thanks, will do.

Cheers, I'm in that group already
