lovely looking tourer, I think it must have been built around the same time as my recent scrapper tourer mk2, as its reg was BU04 TKT!!
good luck with the sale.

I've always liked moonshine as a colour on the ZT-T. It is a pity that more weren't made. I had to settle for Silver.

A couple of questions:-

1) Was moonshine made up of a silver (MBB) base coat with a special gloss / lacquer top coat that distorts the light to give the rainbow effect?

2) In the spectre saloon, what is the item on the interior roof behind the sunroof?

Regards,
Kearton

not sure about the moonshine paint. But, it says in the ad for the spectre - roof mount dvd, and think there's a pic of it folded down.

Cheers,
Pete

re the paint, on reflection, this must be a pearl in the basecoat with a clearcoat top.

Silver base coat, yes.

DVD player. Found on some models. These were offered by MG Rover as an optional extra. Very rare, though.
