Just finished the filling, let it cool and wrap them tomorrow. They're not like the Chinese takeaway spring rolls, hulking great lumps of veg and very little meat, mine are about 60-40 meat to veg but the veg is blitzed so you get the flavour contribution from the veg without the big lumps of carrot etc.
Do you do takeaway? My mouth is watering.

We have it too Brian, and it’s laid a bit on the ground and roofs, looks like the sloppy wet stuff rather than proper snow.
Typical, yesterday it chucked it down all day, today it’s snowing and I need to clean out the hen house. Oh well warm jacket and woolly hat it is.

LOL Yum! Toasted hot cross buns are a delight, I've just taken the turkey out of the freezer ready for tomorrow & put the battery maintainer on the Rover in the garage. Don't want the hard frost killing that battery. Looks like more harder overnight frosts on the cards this week too.

Cool

The sun is out .

The bad news is I'm waiting on a emergency electrical engineer. Have no lights, no cooker but the radio and Xmas tree lights are working. Checked all the switches, all ok. Still the kettle still works

First snow of Winter has arrived - a very thin layer on the car windscreen, and a more noticeable, whiter layer on the trees up on the edge of the North Yorks. Moors. It's grey, dark, damp and perishing freezing out there too.
Tomorrow will be the first time we've eaten at home on Christmas Day for many years (abut 20 I think) - a strange experience awaits us!
