Thanks, not sure if the motor is denso, but this could be the solution. What a great vid. Will get and fit the new clutch, hopefully will allow me to relax when turning the key and relieve me from that fear that the car might not start.

I managed to get over to Carl's on Saturday evening, and pick up your starter motor kit, and a few others to keep in my nano box so you can collect any day this week cheers Arctic.

When I did mine I removed the inlet manifold to get a clear view of it and manged to bend the hoses at the front which did give away and got it out that way.
Still your Method works a treat, talk about a job trying to wiggle it out from the top of the engine, did the soloniod a few months ago, Stater is like new. Last edited by Dragrad; 4th January 2017 at 23:30.. Reason: dead quote |

Thank's guys appreciated, fitted a kit for a local R75 owner yesterday his one contact was almost worn through, well worth doing for preventive measures in my opinion Arctic.

After replacing the contacts ,your starter is electrically like new
