As my car was off the road most of last year - the AirCon hadn't been put to use for close to 2 years - Glad to say all was Cool when the system was fired up on Friday (i half expected an issue due to lack of use)
Out of curiosity...(and Ignorance )... How often should the AirCon system require Servicing/Recharging ? Paul. |

should run the aircon for a short period every couple of weeks as it lubricates the o ring seals in the pipes.
Having said that, over here in Australia we use out aircon non stop for about 3-4 months and it sits unused for tge rest of the year. Re gas seems to be when the aircon starts feeling not so cold anymore!! |

17 years old 5th August, and the air con has never been re gassed.
That said, I have noticed over the last couple of weeks, what was said by genpk , not feeling so cold anymore, I think I need to have the issue addressed as soon as. Regards, Dave |
