I can't add anything of practical value to this other than my utter admiration for your ability and tenacity.

your all superstars in my eyes...

this weekend i will drain the holts out and refill with fresh antifreeze....

at the same time just tweak the exhust manifold botls (small leak)

still got the slight oil from breather system so nest step a oil catch tank...
Hi Tim,
Congratulations to you for sticking with it for so long and achieving a great result in the end. Very well done.
With regard to the engine light coming on a couple of times on your 20 mile test, this may be down to the Cat or the Lambda sensor being a bit dirty with oil film etc., after all the muck which has passed through the exhaust system until now. With running, this hopefully will clean off and and the Lambda will be able to send the correct information to the ECU. This is just a thought, but will keep fingers crossed that this is the case.
Well done again, and go and have a good rest, you deserve one, along with having a good time with your young family over the Festive Season.
Regards,
Telfer.

Would be very interesting to know.
My guess, for what it is worth. Owner in asylum, car on the scrap heap.
But I hope I am wrong.
I have never seen such determined effort on this forum.

Unfortunately it kind of reflects a few things that go on.

It seemed really goos news, but no real confirmation from mthe owner that it was all sorted, and they dissapered into the ether.

So a reminder to all, please give full feedback about problesm and solutions. It helps confirm theories and debunk myths.
