Part I.D
Can anybody tell me the correct name for the plastic Y connector that bolts to the block above the oil cooler? It connects to the top rad hose and another smaller one?

Dan, you will receive faster, more accurate advice if you put your engine type in your profile after 'MG ZT-T'.

Poster has a diesel. It's a water outlet 'branch', on e-bay for around 25 quid I think. The part is Land Rover.

Yes that's the 1 Thanks. Any of you guys know the torque setting for the bolts by any chance? ? I've replaced the gasket but not got it tight enough I don't think, as it's still weeping. With it being plastic, I didn't want to over do it and crack it.

Hi Dan.
For the cost of a new unit is no more than £20.00 I would fit new, as the plastic goes brittle over time and leaks around the edge where the gasket is, the part number is (LR006797) also depicted in the photo below. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/370924263967 https://www.island-4x4.co.uk/water-h...0l-p-8085.html

Coolant hose connector to cylinder head 9Nm / 7ftlb Since you're unlikely to have a suitable torque wrench, settings this low basically mean hand tighten using your judgement. (9Nm is 'nipped' using a six inch spanner. For your DIY jobs, you really do need a copy of Haynes, or the RAVE disc for a tenner (forum sales I believe).
