Although I have only been a member for a relatively short time, I have found the forums to be very well organised and regulated. A high standard has been in place for all users alike, maintained by yourself and 'the Moderators' as a team effort, so its sad to read of your 'retirement' but I'm sure the good work will continue.
Thank you for all your efforts and hard work, that as you say, mostly goes unseen by the rest of us, and wish you all the best.

Tony.

A question/idea for the rest of the Moderators ....
When someone like Dragrad retires.....we don`t have any Gold watches Etc why not give them a Golden name as a mark of respect, that way any future
members will know it is for service rendered to the club.....
....Anyone with me on that???
Ken.
Yep, got my support on that one

A good idea, but probably not possible, as then others would come out and say" what about my contributions to the club?"

Perhaps a symbol of some sort ? .

Hi Andrew.
Sad to see you go, on my many sleepless nights since my bypass surgery I've sat downstairs with the PC on the forum and often It's just been you and I, funny you get a nice warm feeling when you're not alone.
I wish you all the very best for now and the future, keep in touch and don't be a stranger.
Take care.

HI Andrew.
Good luck for the future, sad to see you retire I could always get hold of you in the late hours, also always found you to be fair when dealing with certain issues that needed to be looked at, you undertook some hard decisions which I am sure did not make you flavour of the month sometimes but that is the nature of the (moderator ) beast someone as to do it, and you were brave enough to step forward.

All the best Arctic

Andrew

Whilst we have disagreed at times, you have done a sterling job nudging the forum along in the wee small hours, and for that I thank you.

Moderating a large forum is never an easy task at the best of times, but you've certainly done a huge amount to keep it on a very even keel

Best Wishes
