I pay £280 a year, Adrian flux, all mods declared on my white 75 daily, along with flux flex covering me fully comp to drive any other car thats tax, insured and mot'd in UK or Ireland. Up to value of £20,000 or €22,000

Its basically an old style "auction" policy that evoked into car traders policies which are obviously different now.

19 years ncb. Without flux flex its about £200 but frankly its worth it as it also included by default key cover, 30.miles home recovery and also legal coverage for the owner of the other car should it be in an accident when I'm driving.

Fantastic policy.

£650. For third party.

Couple of minutes later, eSure did it for £390, which is still madness. But hey ho! Pays to shop anyway.
Probably because your NCB is used up on the first car so you're paying full wack on the ZT. Assuming, of course, you have NCB.

Fantastic policy.
After three years with Pete Best this year they got silly with increases on their Classic Car policy. Tried Adrian Flux ( I was with them 40 years ago with my 351ci Mustang and V6 Pop) and got a price i was happy with. Usual classic car restrictions. But it did take a while to get a good price. only when they checked my mileage online (800 miles last year) did they give me a better price than Pete Best.

My own classic policy is with autoline locally.

£240 a year, 5000 miles between 1 ztt, 3 75s and my 216 cabriolet. Agreed value for them all.

I changed my Dolomite insurance recently from Adrian Flux to Classic Line. Their quote was 30% cheaper than Flux's and get this with the same insurance company. They said if I get a better quote get back we will beat any equivalent quote. I didn't but they chased after me when I didn't renew. If they couldn't give me a competitive renewal first time from the same company to start with then they can go get stuffed.

I had two cars on their recovery insurance, the Dolomite became included in the main quote so they quoted for the Volvo on its own with a rise from £69.00 for both to £87.00 for one!!! Got it covered with Recover Cover with a Defacto 5 star rating and guaranteed car hire for breakdowns or accidents for £56.00.

I shop around every year.
