My Chinese meal contribution is:

Shredded beef - Char Sui?

Looks lovely whatever it actually was.

And on the subject of food the next wedding chocolate cake practise is due today. So it's going to be a great day as this one is going to have black cherries and Chambord Black Raspberry liqueur in it.

I know you'll all share my misery at having to taste test it

Hi all

Nairobi 25C forecast today,

Just been catching up with the chill out lounge news, fortunately nothing dire. We are back from our week long safari to the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. A week of no TV and no radio, we had lots of rain which made for dramatic photos and challenging driving off road, 4X4 met the task. All in all, a lovely break and escape.

Now Jessica wants to go away again. Decisions: Drive up north to the Samburu region or drive down south to a beach house with daily temperatures of 31C and warm ocean waters.

I have been telling Jessica the highlights of the lounge discussions: food, weather, arthritis....no one mentioned football.

What’s everyone up to?
