Home now after a very emotional day. When we got about half a mile from the crematorium on the way to the funeral, we came across TEN AA Patrol vans, all lined up at the side of the road, all spotlessly clean and with amber flashers going. They waited for the hearse to pass and then formed a guard of honour to accompany it to the chapel. The patrolmen then left their vehicles and lined up either side of the entrance as the coffin was carried in. Brought lots of tears to lots of eyes I have to say.

Thank you very much Richard for your thoughts about my brothers mother in law and I agree with everything you have written. Lets keep our fingers crossed that everything goes well with your mum settling in and she reaches the grand age of 90 and beyond. May all of your hopes be realised.

Catching up backwards on here today.

Just to say thoughts are with Jessica, Phil, Rod and Angela at this time.

Also glad to read that your Mum seems to be settling in nicely Richard and that your Aunt's house should finally be moving towards completion.

Cool

Rain, so much blooming rain.

Not the best of days to get an almost flat tyre on the Bear. Managed to get to the family run tyre shop, I’m on first name terms with them. Had a choice of staying in the car or standing out in the rain whilst they mended the puncture. I stayed in the car. And 30 minutes later we was off into town to the PO. Sent one parcel of car bits off to Azur in Holland.

Then on the way home into the local corner shop, also serves as a Hermes hub. More parcels going of to Philou in Kent.
Already sent stuff off to Artic up North. Got bits to take with me on Sunday to the Frimley breakfast meet.

Been a mixed bag of weather here, lovely and sunny until 13:00 then rain, sunny again then a massive thunderstorm which sent Meg into a panic.

Stopped raining at 17:00 again and is still dry now.

You've been driving long enough to know you don't get punctures on nice sunny days. Its always either dark, raining or freezing cold.

Heavy showers again today, drying up but still some big puddles around.
