Oops. Spoke too soon. Now throwing it down.

As for why forecasts differ I gather it's because they have different computers/programs/models to number crunch the data so they arrive at different conclusions. I think the raw data is the same and comes from satellites, weather stations and radar.

BBC used to use the Met Office now it's Metro Group (I think) so the chances are that they will be different.

Started bright and sunny here but has cooled off considerably. Keeps raining on and off, tbh I wish it would throw it down then I can go home for a kip, I'm really tired; been on a commercial job for last 7 days, windows gutters and chairs to clean. Didnt finish til 6.30 last night and that wascwithout stoppkng for a dinner break

Get some good rest mate.

Being massively over tired does nasty things to the way we function. And it brings the risk level of accidents while doing normal stuff way, way up.

I sent a message to the shop regarding the price as i thought they must have priced them wrong

Here is the reply__ "Hi Steven unfortunately yes it is. With all the bad weather and late frosts the price for local new potatoes this year is through the roof, it’s the reason we’ve bagged them and priced them. I hoping the prices will come down soon."

They are Lincolnshire potatoes,we normally get them for £1 a bag at the farm shop at Fleet Hargate.

Now I know why farmers pray for rain,so they can put the prices up
