Exclamation mobile phone scam

I had an email message on my mobile phone purporting to be from Virgin Media (who I have a phone contract with) regards my "missed payment" and need you to add your card details again I rang virgin media to ask if this message was from them & sure enough it wasn't, It's a scam.

I regularly get txts supposedly from Sky and less regularly from EE and other networks telling my that my mobile phone bill this month is £....... - and if I want to check it “click on this link”.

The link address is a “good con” but yet again - a scam.

There seems to be no end to these scams As you say they're getting better at it all the time & it would be easy to be taken in when you're rushing around to get your emails done.
