Grass cutting today.

Morning Ian and all other visitors, been raining most of the night here but at least it’s stopped now and the forecast shows the rest of the day to be dry.

Morning all - from a glorious sunny and warm North Yorkshire. I was surprised to see that the cricket from Lords was totally washed out yesterday by rain. Less surprising is the BBC introducing another example of political correctness - their on-line cricket coverage now refers to the batsmen as 'batters'. W G Grace will be turning in his grave

Morning Rod, how goes it? June and July in Kenya is usually our winter, 2 months of grey skies and low temperatures of 15C, but this week it’s been hot with high temperatures of 27C-31C. I don’t know what’s happening to the weather. I had an invitation to apply for the state pension UK, is it is an easy procedure? Had it not been for us being on the red list, we would be having a holiday in the uk enjoying the summer

Morning (well, actually, it's afternoon now over here) Phil - I hope you and Jessica are both as well as our bodies allow us to be
Just been out to get the morning papers and will spend the rest of the weekend in peace and quiet. With cricket (hopefully) on TV (highlights tonight) and a friendly England football match on Sunday I'll be spending a fair while in the armchair with a cool bottle (or 2) of Henrys apple juice

Afternoon all from a hot and sunny Midlands.

Sounds lovely but not great if you're spending the afternoon shifting slabs for a mate who's hurt his shoulder. .

Enjoy yourselves whatever you get up to.

Ok, own up. Who sent the rain? Not funny when trying to mow the grass.
