One of my Rover 75 sunroof front drain pipes needs replacing. Rimmer Bros advise they are discontinued. Can anybody help please?

One from a scrap car, or some polyurethane pipe and make your own.

If it's the upper one, better to fit a longer than standard pipe, which runs all the way down to the wheel arch; thus avoiding the mid point join.

If it is, perhaps you could let this forum know what is involved, as it would be a sensible mod.

My feeling is it would be head lining out, or maybe just dislodged; making it non-viable.

Regards

Mike

Default Drains - help appreciated

Dear Mike & Trikey,

Many thanks, it seems I can just purchase a suitable bit of plastic piping - no need for Rimmer costly special part? Please excuse my ignorance but cojuld you let me know the bore size of the pipe I will need? Then I need a clever person to fit it.

A 12mm bore pipe slots nicely inside a sunroof drain tube as that is what I use to extend the original pipes through the bulkhead.

I would say 12mm will be ok as long as it’s a soft rubber or polyurethane.
