Been in the RVI once, the old RVI. When I was train driving I had a suicide in the northern outskirts of Newcastle. Taken to the RVI for a once over for shock. Cracking cup of tea!

Still cant get a local appointment for my second jab Tried again today (4th time) & was offered Macclesfield or Liverpool Yet we're told to minimise travel in & out of the area.
BBC today..... " Greater Manchester and parts of Lancashire have been identified as places where the so-called Indian variant, now named the Delta variant by the World Health Organization, is spreading the fastest."

Been recording/watching "Look At Life" (Talking Pictures TV), series of films by the Rank Organisation about life in the '50s. Just watched one about BSA motorcycles, particularly the bike-sidecar/box combo for the AA. The patrolman opened the sidecar/box, opened the toolbox within it, top of the toolkit was a BIG hammer . . . . the fact a huge hammer is the easiest accessed tool says a lot for cars in the '50s

The Bear has new lights along with distinctive halo’s, originally built by Rick Bhullar and fitted to Bumbles. And we now have two working horns. And at last the airbag light has gone out. A couple of jobs still to be done.
Taking Banana back tomorrow to have new disc’s and pads fitted along with yet another door card. We have a mega trip in the next couple of weeks, providing we get past June 21st. And I got to eat the biggest chicken salad I have ever seen. Then Warp Factor 3 all the way home. Watered the plants, downloaded the photo’s from today and a large glass of malt before bed.

Morning Jeff, a lovely morning here, had a nice ride home on the bike, pity I’ll be sleeping through most of the nice weather.
