Morning all - light cloud and occasional sun shine here today. I've got a few hours of solitude now, as SWMBO is granddaughter siting whilst mother goes to the dentist. Then, we're having my son and family for pizzas at teatime, so I'll need to tidy up the dining table - aka my office

Next week on Friday we are due our second dose of the vaccination. A friend has offered up his beach house for free for as long as we want, not far from Mombasa. It’s set on a small cliff overlooking a fishing village. The weather is usually hot, humid and it takes a few days to acclimatise, the sea temperature is around 27.9 - 28.9C. But we will hold off going until about 3 weeks after the jab.

What’s everyone up to?
