Sounds like the door latch will need replacing. They are available from Rimmers for around £20.

You will need to remove the trim panel from the door on the inside - difficult with the door closed but can be done and then you will be able to open the door.

The handle will also need to be removed from outside to replace the latch.

Put your Hand inside the Door and feel for a Bar going Vertical with a plastic Clip / Plug / Box at the bottom, Push at this upwards (Or downwards I forget which) and it should release the Door.

I have noticed something when I repaired my Door from being locked out, I think the Door handle itself comes away from the Latch slightly, thus not allowing the "Pull" required to release the Doors. I need to look into this more, but I am fairly confident about this. Sorry I know this bit wasn't relatvie to your thread

Sorry to hijack (a bit) this thread but I have the same problem with my drivers door.
However, I've pulled off the door card, can reach in to the said bar and it doesn't release the door.
Any suggestions???
