Default Ok, so,tyres again.

Now then chaps.

In the not too distant future I'll need to replace the tyres on my 75. I'll more than likely also be putting the car on Crown wheels.

What brand of tyre is suggested for the 75 15 inch wheels? Specifically I'm looking for low road noise, and good waftiness.

Is there any brand that people have had success with?

I am using Goodyear Excellence on my Tourer's 16" alloys.

Very quiet, I have used Goodyear's on all my 800s and 75s

Hmm, they look very good value!

What are they like for ride comfort?

Default 15" tyres

Well if anyone can honestly better 32,000 on first set from factory and now at 53,000 on second set with 3-4mm tread still left I would be very grateful to hear of their choice at approx. £65 a corner.
First set still had tread but suffered the common problem of outside wear on the rears from incorrect alignment from the factory.
The second set went on as had bought 4 brand new Rover alloys with brand new tyres off ebay for £100 (assume someone had upgraded alloys on new car)
Not only that, the tyres are now 10 yrs old with absolutely no cracking and were checked for fitness in Dec.
Only other member I know of using the same tyres is Dr Dave who has had similar service from his.
Have posted this up many times !

Ride comfort is subjective, however I would not have stayed with them if not of a high standard.

Looking around, it does seem that they're recommended a lot.
