Default mgzt with bonnet showing as open on ipk

Hi all.

The bonnet plunger failed to trip bonnet open on my dads zt. so we removed it and joined the wires to complete the circuit and its still on why is this and what can we do as it's - annoying any help or thought's will be most welcome

I thought the switch broke the circuit with the bonnet down. ??
The warning can pop on if the bonnet isn't set at the right level. The adjuster buffers usually fix that.

but there's no switch the car doesn't have one as we removed it, that's why it's wired together

That is correct AFAIK.... Leave the wires unconnected Or replace with a new switch, cheap enough

Exactly so. The result is 'bonnet open'. Separate the wires, 'bonnet shut'.
