Default New ferry to Morocco

Hi, been hoping to take our campervan to Morocco as soon as situation allows. Just found info on a new ferry from Poole. It could work out a preferred route as it cuts out two ferry’s and a long drive through two EU countries and removes ‘lengthy bureaucratic Brexit procedures’. The 3 day ferry could be popular, will depend on price I suppose. I’ll keep my eye on it. It will be good to have options.

Don’t give up hope just yet!!

There is a lot of interest in this route from both local businesses and holiday makers.

Yes it will primarily be for business as now we are not in the EU, why have non EU imports into the U.K. going the old route from, say, the Far East to Marseille and then across Europe, then across the channel into the U.K.

Easier to offload U.K. destined stuff in Morocco and put it on a Ferry direct to U.K.

Then the EU destined stuff can go into Marseille. The Irish have put on direct EU to Ireland ferries for the same reason. Poole thinks it’s great!!!!!

As for leisure traffic this letter to a prospective customer was recently published in Dorsetbiznews

“We really appreciate your support and the operations team is already considering how we can accommodate Motorhome owners and passengers onboard due to overwhelming numbers of requests like your good self and our desire to support the Motorhome community to promote exchanges and new opportunities between countries.
Kind Regards

A few days stopover in the New Forest before that 57 hour crossing!! What could be better.

Norfolk line was predominately for freight but was also used by tourists who didn’t mind the trucker types and their food.

We use DFDS Newhaven Dieppe a lot as my sonand his wife live in Brighton - that is very much a “commercial” carrier. Really good breakfast!!!

And when we first started using Poole Cherbourg it was “Truckline” ferries.
