Late Facelift Diesel Single Pump Circuit Diagram
Would anyone have a diagram of the circuit for a late model facelift diesel with single in tank pump that they can share ?
I have reviewed the last RAVE for the facelift model but it shows twin pump set up, however there is a page in it that does show a single pump arrangement, however it is not specific about which model it is fitted too? |

I believe it was simply a case of deleting the low-pressure UBP as a stronger lift-pump was fitted in tank, therefore the wiring is likely unchanged though the bit that runs to the UBP was probably deleted too.

I will dig out the photographs for you Gary
What I will say apart from everything else that is different in regards to the pipework, there is a a pressure relief valve fitted to the later setup, designed to vent at 420Kpa. There is no reference to the later setup in any version of RAVE Brian |

Or 420Kpa in T4 Speak
As it happens after manufacturing the relief valve, the spring pressure was calculated by compressing an assortment of small springs until coilbound on a set of kitchen scales, and multiplying the result by 24 accounting for the total area of the valve to give the rating in PSI When everything was fitted back together, the T4 live data showed a LP reading of 425Kpa or 61.64 PSI, near enough for pit work Brian |

Thread ressurection
Noticed a diesel smell and looking under the bonnet of my 05 diesel Tourer i can see a leak around what appears to be an inline valve on a fuel line below the filter. Does anybody have a diagram of this set-up please? Bit dark at the minute to be faffing about...
Thanks in advance. |
